Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Trolleybuses

Unlike the trams, the N&D trolleybuses ran to Cotmanhay and Ilkeston, these extensions giving a total route of 18.5 miles. A further 3.75 miles took the silent giants into the centre of Nottingham offering one of the longest provincial journeys in Britain.
