Colchester Tramways

The first years of the 20th Century were a golden age for trams, providing transport to and from the suburbs. Many historic scenes are included herein, helping to keep the memories of Colchester Corporation Tramways alive.

The oral history group, ‘Colchester Recalled’, has been particularly useful in providing eyewitness accounts from people who travelled and worked on the trams.
