Cardiff Tramways

Railed public transport served the citizens of Cardiff for just over 77 years, first using horse power, and subsequently electric traction.  This publication provides a photographic record of the trams and the routes they served, illustrating how the city’s street scenes and citizens’ lifestyle have changed over the years.  Whilst the contents will be of interest to transport enthusiasts, it will provide material for those studying the social history of the city.
