Steaming Through

Steaming through Surrey

by Peter Hay

Although many Surrey lines were electrified at an early date, steam continued to play an important part on freight services and on the main line to the West of England. It also survived for a long while on several cross country routes. This album revives memories of those majestic machines, toiling through this beautiful county.
