Devon Narrow Gauge
featuring the Lee Moor Tramway
by Maurice Dart
The vast variety of mineral resources in the county gave rise to a diverse series of minor railways to convey them. Long and short, their unusual characteristics are illustrated herein. Probably least known was one on Lundy Island, although the military lines were once well kept secrets. Also included in detail are the growing number of tourist lines, all shown as being worthy of a visit.
