Midland Main Lines

Tamworth to Derby

featuring the Burton Brewery Lines

by Vic Mitchell & Keith Smith

Operated by the Midland Railway initially, the line from Birmingham brought prosperity to Burton on Trent.

The resulting network of lines serving the Breweries there are shown in detail, as is the web of tracks at Derby for its extensive Railways Works.

Review:

'As with the other books in the Middleton range, this one concentrates on a relatively small but specific area, cramming in plenty of information, maps and photographs into its 96 pages.'
