Midland Main Lines

Bromsgrove to Gloucester

including Ashchurch to Great Malvern

by Vic Mitchell & Keith Smith

Part of the Birmingham to Bristol route, this line still offers a great variety of trains. Many more are illustrated herein, along with numerous long closed intermediate stations. The charming rural branch through Tewkesbury to Malvern is portrayed in detail. In its final decade, the residual stump to Upton-on-Severn had only two up trains on most days.
