Country Railway Routes

Market Harborough to Newark

including Belgrave Road Branch

by Vic Mitchell & Keith Smith

This forgotten rural route ran mainly over the Leicestershire Wolds and carried a variety of mineral and agricultural items.

There are also rare views herein of holiday trains running to East Coast resorts, long after regular service had ceased from Leicester Belgrave Road.

Review:

'This album is only the second to cover the line in its entirety and tells the story by way of pictures, captions and maps in the now time-honoured Middleton Press style.'
