Branch Lines

Branch Lines to Clevedon and Portishead

including the WCPR and the Bristol Harbour Lines

by Vic Mitchell & Keith Smith

Illustrated in detail are two ex-GWR branches that were close to passengers in the 1960s and also the Weston Clevedon & Portishead Railway, that linked them until 1940.This light railway had the quaint charm that was associated with other lines that became part of Colonel Stephen's empire. The complex lines to Bristol Harbour are also studied in detail, as is the new system in the Royal Portbury Dock.
