This book is a reproduction of the accompanying book of maps and city plans that was published alongside the Bradshaw’s Continental Railway Guide in 1913. It offers a fascinating glimpse of how the most important towns and cities in Europe looked before the devastation of two World Wars and the growth of Europe over the next century.

The book also includes enlarged versions of the two maps of the entire European rail network from 1913 including cross-reference to the Bradshaw’s Continental Guide book, plus a rare reproduction of an 1853 map of Northern and Central Europe, showing railways opened and in progress.
